The Empty Bowls Fundraiser is a community initiative dedicated to fighting hunger and supporting the Solanco Neighborhood Ministries’ Food Bank. Centered around the simple idea that no one should have an empty bowl, our event brings together local artists and our community to share a meal and raise funds for those facing food insecurity. Guests select from a variety of handcrafted ceramic bowls, share a meal together, and learn about the many ways the ministry addresses food insecurity. Each guest takes their bowl home as a lasting reminder of the cause and their contribution to fighting hunger. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Food Bank helping to provide food, support services, and hope to individuals and families in need. Together, we fill empty bowls—and lives—with nourishment and compassion.
