Join us at Bonsai Northwest for a special live bonsai demonstration with Pacific Northwest artist Tony Fajarillo. Tony will style a tree from the historic Terayama Family collection, sharing how he evaluates the material, envisions its structure, and executes the wiring and styling process for our climate.
In this session you'll learn:
• How Tony reads the trunk, branch options and movement to plan a design
• Wiring techniques for structure vs. refinement
• Seasonal timing for Zone 8 (wet winters, dry mild summers)
• Aftercare for styled conifers in the Pacific Northwest
