Ephrat Asherie Dance + Arturo O'Farrill

Shadow Cities is a joyous collaboration that brings together Ephrat Asherie’s exhilarating choreography — a unique remix of street and club dance styles including breaking, hip hop, house, and waacking — with live music by Grammy Award-winning jazz musician and composer Arturo O’Farrill.

Anchored by O’Farrill’s singular sound, Shadow Cities’ cast of seven dancers and four musicians, including O’Farrill himself on piano, explores and celebrates the beauty, vastness, and complexity of our multi-faceted modern lives.
