Learn to sort, cut, and store your scraps with intention. Develop a personal system for turning your stash into creative projects.
Instructor: Bev McDonald
Length: 1 session — 2.5 hours
Skill Level: All Levels
Do your scraps feel more overwhelming than inspiring? Join Bev for a hands-on, practical session designed to help you bring order—and creativity—to your fabric leftovers.
In this class, you’ll learn how to sort, cut, and store your scraps in a way that works for you. We’ll explore different systems for organizing by size, color, or project type, and discuss how to efficiently process leftovers from your current quilts so they’re ready for future use. You’ll see examples of how to turn small pieces into leaders-and-enders projects, scrappy blocks, and foundation piecing ideas that make the most of every inch of fabric.
By the end of class, you’ll leave with a personalized scrap management plan and sample block ideas to start using your newly organized pieces right away. Whether you’re a tidy color sorter or a “controlled chaos” type of quilter, this class will help you turn your fabric mountain into creative momentum.
