Jayne Neville on Birdscaping & Songbird Migration

Presentation on migratory songbirds, her rehabilitation experience, reducing negative impacts around your home, and how to attract songbirds and other wildlife to your yards. Jayne was the founder/president of Mount Vernon Songbird Sanctuary (formerly The Recovery Wing) in Southington, CT where she cared for several thousand songbirds over 23 years with her expertise focusing on insectivores, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, killdeer, chimney swifts and swallows. Since she moved to Florida, she has become an expert on native plants for birds. Her talk is chock full of information with photos of the birds who visit her yard including FL Scrub Jays, Ovenbirds, Great Crested Flycatchers along with various woodpeckers and other common backyard birds!
