In the late 19th century the culture to eat food at a café or restaurant started developing due to the European influence on the city which was under the British rule. The Parsis who had migrated from Iran started setting up restaurants / cafes / bakeries to cater to the British. As the aspirations grew so did food outlets started springing up. We will explore and try out these authentic food delicacies of Iran / Persia / Maharashtra from the place where it first originated and listen to the origin story of these famous outlets.
