About the event

Books, Chai & More

This month Books Chai & More the Raah Book Club will be discussing the book Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (Nobel 2017). Prior to the book discussion a film based on the book will be screened.

Hailsham seems like a pleasant English boarding school far from the city; its students are well tended and supported but curiously they are taught nothing of the outside world and are allowed no contact with it. It’s only when the three friends - Kathy Ruth and Tommy leave the school (as they always knew they would) that they realize the full truth about Hailsham.

The book discussion will be led by Wrayed.
