The Gladish Players are excited to announce auditions for Humanology 103: Intro to Dysfunction, the second installment in our Local Playwrights Series, following Moving On. This dark comedy by local playwright Isabella Valentine takes a hilarious and poignant look at family, identity, and alien research gone awry.
How to Audition:
✔️ Please fill out an audition form on our website prior to showing up.
✔️ A 1 ½ minute prepared monologue is highly recommended but not required.
✔️ Cold-readings from the script will also be available.
Available Roles:
🎭 Kleeby McFleeby (Aspen Anderson) [30-55, M/F/NB] - An alien researcher disguised as a family therapist.
🎭 Toot Tot [25-35, M/F/NB] - Kleeby’s eager teaching assistant.
🎭 William Robert Jones [45-55, M] - A middle-aged, obese man defined by his brand of Conservative Christianity.
🎭 Wendy Allison Johnson [50-60, F] - William’s ex-wife, a typical mid-sized white woman.
🎭 Luke Raguel Jones [18-22, M] - The youngest child of William and Wendy.
🎭 Matthew Remiel Jones [25-29, M] - The oldest child of William and Wendy.
🎭 Marcella Dagny Beccarius (dead named Mark Raphael Jones) [22-26, F/TF] - The middle child of William and Wendy.
Production Dates are November 15th at 7PM and November 16th at 3PM. Production Calendar will be posted closer to audition dates.
