Join us for a fun, mini-workshop where you'll learn how to "felt a sweater" onto a bar of handmade soap! In just about 30 minutes, you'll create a unique and practical gift that also serves as a gentle, built-in washcloth.
During this quick and easy session, you'll be working with beautiful wool roving and a bar of artisan soap made locally by Six Mile Soap's own Jill. We'll show you the simple wet-felting technique to transform a plain bar of soap into a colorful, exfoliating scrubber. You'll get to choose from a wide variety of wool colors to design your one-of-a-kind creation.
This is a great activity for all ages! We recommend participants be at least 8 years old. Younger children are welcome to join with an adult's help. You might get a little wet, so be sure to dress accordingly.
Soap and wool kits will be available for purchase so you can continue the fun and make more at home!
