He's been covering nightlife for twenty years—the clubs in South Beach during the golden era, the live music venues that survived the condo boom, the comedy scene that exists but doesn't get enough credit, the food festivals that take over Wynwood, the Art Basel parties that technically aren't Art Basel but everyone calls them that anyway. Miami nightlife is a lot. Ricardo knows that. His job is sorting through it—figuring out which clubs are actually worth the cover versus which ones are just Instagram opportunities, which concerts justify fighting traffic to get there, which festivals are memorable versus forgettable.
