Eat the Rainbow: September Harvest Edition
Celebrate with community and creativity—bring a plant-based dish you love or try giving a plant-based twist to a traditional favorite. No pressure as always, fruit or simple salads are always welcome! As always, please avoid ALL animal products and reduce or eliminate added oils, salt, and sugars. There will be an S.O.S.-free (Salt, Oil, Sugar-free) section to accommodate the more health-conscious among us- please consider contributing an SOS-free dish.
Kindly bring your own serving spoons, plates, utensils, and water bottles as well as a mug or bowl for soup. We will be glad to furnish these items if you forget, but providing your own items saves our volunteers a tremendous amount of time, giving them more time to answer your questions and socialize with participants.
*Note: We will be dining outside on the lawn on the rear side of the church. Please bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on. For your convenience, please also bring a folding table (if you’d like to). If it rains, we will dine inside in the Founder’s Room.
Book Club
For the NOVEMBER potluck, Tatiana will lead a discussion of the book The Comfort of Crows by Margaret Renkl. Please email her (PM Jo Ellen to get her email address) if you plan to participate. She needs a committed group of 6 to run the Book Club.
