Conservatory at Nassau: My Cup Runneth Over

On Thursday, September 18 at 12:15 p.m. the twenty-fourth season of Westminster Conservatory at Nassau will open with a recital of music for piano. The soloist, Clipper Erickson, is a member of the teaching faculty of Westminster Conservatory. The recital will take place in the Niles Chapel of Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street in Princeton. It is open to the public free of charge.

With this program, entitled "My Cup Runneth Over – the Piano Music of Nathaniel Dett, Erickson marks ten years since the release of his recording of the complete piano works by Dett, a Canadian-American composer of African descent who lived from 1882 to 1943.

The next Westminster Conservatory at Nassau recital will take place on Thursday, October 16 and will feature flutist Katherine McClure, oboist Melissa Bohl, and pianist Phyllis Lehrer.
