🌟 Deborah Sands Gartenberg & The George H. & Estelle M. Sands Foundation
The Sands Foundation, founded in 1996 by George and Estelle Sands, has long been committed to supporting arts, healthcare, and education in the Princeton area. In recent years, their daughter Deborah Sands Gartenberg has deepened that legacy with a special focus on equity for children in under-resourced communities—especially Trenton.
Debbie’s leadership has expanded the Foundation’s support for over 25 local organizations that promote educational success, wellness, and youth opportunity. Since 2016, she has been a dedicated advocate for NJTL of Trenton, championing its mission through generous support, volunteerism, and personal engagement with the students. Her vision and compassion have helped countless children in Trenton access the tools they need to thrive—in the classroom, on the tennis court, and beyond.
