Golu Extravaganza

Join us for a Navratri Golu Extravaganza!

Navratri, the nine-day celebration of divine feminine power, is a vibrant tradition in South India. Traditionally, families display intricately arranged dolls and heirlooms, creating a festive and communal atmosphere. Community members visit each other’s displays and perform traditional songs for the dolls. All are welcome to sing whether they have formal training, or not.

Event Highlights:

- A captivating presentation on the Golu's significance
- Performances of Indian classical music (Saturday only)
- Fun art activities for children
- Traditional refreshments
- Donors to West Windsor Arts receive special goody bags while supplies last!
