Are you ready to begin your journey into the world of Wicca? Join us for an eight-week course on Beginning Wicca, designed to guide you through the foundations of modern witchcraft. Whether you’re brand new or looking to deepen your practice, this class will introduce you to the history, beliefs, tools, and rituals of the Craft in a welcoming and supportive space.
In today’s fast-paced, ever-shifting world, many of us are feeling the call to slow down, to reconnect, and to remember what truly matters. As technology races forward and society grows more complex, people are yearning for something deeper—something rooted, timeless, and real.
We see this in the growing desire for spiritual paths that honor the Earth, the cycles of the seasons, and the quiet wisdom of nature. More and more, people are turning away from rigid structures and rediscovering practices that nurture balance, mindfulness, and harmony with the world around us.
Wicca and other nature-based traditions offer that grounding. They remind us that we are not separate from the Earth, but part of her rhythms—woven into the same fabric as the moon, the sun, the trees, and the tides. In a time of uncertainty, these practices provide stability, connection, and meaning.
Our world is changing—and in that change lies an opportunity: to step back into a more spiritual, earth-honoring way of living, one that heals both us and the planet.
This 8 week course is $250 supplies included or pay as you go for $35 a class. The classes start every Monday from September 29th until November 24th (No class on Thanksgiving)
from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The course must be prepaid. Payment at Olde Magick or an invoice can be sent to you.

🌙 Wicca for Beginners
Course Overview
This class introduces students to the foundations of Wicca and modern witchcraft. Students will explore beliefs, practices, tools, rituals, and ethics while building confidence in creating personal spiritual practices.
✨ Week 1: Introduction to Wicca
What is Wicca? History & traditions
The difference between Wicca, Witchcraft, and Paganism
Core beliefs: The God & Goddess, the elements, and the cycles of nature
Overview of the Wheel of the Year
Practice: Grounding & centering meditation
✨ Week 2: Sacred Space & Circle Casting
Purpose of ritual space
Cleansing and consecrating space
Step-by-step circle casting and calling quarters
Simple altar setup
Practice: Casting a basic circle
✨ Week 3: Tools of the Craft
Introduction to ritual tools: athame, wand, chalice, pentacle, cauldron, etc.
Everyday items as magical tools
Choosing and consecrating tools
Practice: Consecration ritual
✨ Week 4: The Elements & Energy Work
Elemental correspondences (earth, air, fire, water, spirit)
Working with energy, intention, and visualization
Raising and directing energy
Practice: Energy ball exercise
✨ Week 5: Deities & Spirit Allies
The God and Goddess archetypes
Pantheons and personal deity work
Ancestors, guides, and spirit allies
Practice: Guided meditation to meet a deity or guide
✨ Week 6: The Wheel of the Year & Sabbats
The eight Sabbats (Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, Mabon)
Seasonal correspondences and celebrations
Living in harmony with nature’s cycles
Practice: Seasonal altar activity
✨ Week 7: Magick & Spellcraft Basics
What magick is (and isn’t)
Ethics: The Wiccan Rede, Rule of Three, and personal responsibility
Components of spellcraft (timing, correspondences, intention, ritual)
Practice: Creating a simple spell or charm bag
✨ Week 8: Initiating Your Path
Daily practices for Wiccans (journaling, meditation, devotion)
The Book of Shadows (keeping records)
