Materials Included: Watercolor art journal-8.5×8.5 inches, Sharpie S-Gel pen, Signo uni-ball pen, glue stick
What to bring: Not required, but students may bring any magazines, old books, fabric scraps that they would like to use as collage material.
Level: Beginner/No prior experience necessary

Experience the incredibly empowering world of mindful creativity, where you can playfully explore color and composition through collage, paint, and pens, and intuitively balance design elements to achieve a cohesive visual harmony. The practice of grid journaling is accessible to all skill levels, including those who don’t consider themselves artistic.
Instructor bio: As an artist, my work is a conduit for creative and personal expression. I am inspired by the ordinary aspects of daily life and take pleasure in transforming and articulating them through diverse mediums such as acrylic mixed media with an emphasis on collage, as well as watercolor and gouache. My process begins with intuition, layering each piece to create depth and complexity. I strive for a harmony of organic and geometric forms, hues, and layouts. Grateful for the knowledge gained from other artists, I wish to share my own creative practice.
