Invitation to the new play area at Hawthorne Park

The Hawthorne Park Trust and Wyre Council are delighted to announce that the renovation of the enclosed playground on Hawthorne Park is now complete. This area has been designed for younger children - from toddlers up to 12 years old.

Please join us in celebrating this exciting new development on Wednesday September 10th at 2 p.m. on the Park in the presence of the Mayor of Wyre Councillor Steve Nicholls, the Hawthorne Park Trustees and Wyre Council representatives.

Ribbons will be cut by children from two local nurseries and two local schools - Baines Endowed and Millfield High School. Their input at the planning stage was so valuable.

Celebratory ice creams will be provided for the children attending.
