On Thursday, December 18th, Central Kitsap Presbyterian Church, North Point Church, Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church, and Summit Avenue Presbyterian Church will host a worship service for people who find the season between Thanksgiving and Christmas a difficult one.
The Longest Night Service is a gentle, contemplative worship experience for anyone who carries grief, stress, or weariness during a season that can feel anything but bright. Through scripture, prayer, candlelight, and music, we create sacred space to acknowledge our sorrow and to rest in God’s compassionate presence. Whether you are grieving a loss, navigating uncertainty, or simply needing a moment of stillness, you are welcome. Come as you are, and find light in the darkness.
If you or someone you know would find this service meaningful, please mark your calendars. If it is someone you know who is struggling at this time of year, please consider not only inviting them but offering to come with them in support.
The Longest Night of the Year service will begin at 6:30pm.
