We are thrilled to announce that the Norwegian Consulate is sending author Lars Mytting on tour to the US to commemorate CROSSINGS - 200 Years of Norway and North America. And one of his stops will be here in Poulsbo!
Lars is an acclaimed, best-selling Norwegian author. His novels have been translated into 19 languages, have won the Norwegian Bookseller Prize and have been shortlisted for the prestigious Dublin IMPAC Prize, among others. The Bell in the Lake has been sold in 12 countries and was a #1 bestseller in Norway. His novels have been staff favorites at our store and one of our bestsellers is his nonfiction title: Norwegian Wood: Chopping, Stacking and Drying Wood the Scandinavian Way.
Lars Mytting lives in Elverum in the neighboring valley of Østerdalen in south eastern Norway, a bit north of Oslo.
This is a ticketed event that will take place at the Poulsbo Sons of Norway Hall. Tickets can be purchased at the link below. Please note: Sons of Norway members will get free admission but a ticket must still be reserved.
The Poulsbo Daughters of Norway will be serving cookies at the event.
Lars Mytting will be available to sign books after the event.
