The Deadly Trail – A Post Falls Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt
The adventure begins soon. Will you dare to follow where the clues lead?
A renowned local historian has been found dead under suspicious circumstances just days after announcing a shocking discovery tied to Post Falls’ shadowy past. The authorities have ruled the death as an accident but a mysterious figure known only as “The Archivist” claims otherwise—insisting that the historian was silenced before they could reveal a long-buried secret.
Teams of detectives are summoned to follow a trail of cryptic clues and hidden evidence scattered across key locations throughout Post Falls. Each stop along the trail reveals fragments of the historian’s research coded messages and suspicious artifacts—some rooted in actual local legends or historical events.
As you race from site to site you’ll encounter suspects red herrings and witnesses each with their own secrets and motives. The Archivist always one step ahead taunts the teams with riddles and challenges daring them to piece together the truth.
Your mission:
Uncover the motive behind the historian’s murder
Discover the killer’s identity
Reveal the secret the historian died to protect

Individuals and groups are welcome to participate but we will send out in teams of no less than 4 participants so if you are solo you will be added to a team.
A vehicle is required to get from one location to the next
At least one participant from each group must have a cell phone
