USS Albacore: A History
The USS Albacore has been a prime Seacoast attraction since 1985, but why is she here and what is her backstory? Join us at Albacore Park to hear her history. Learn about the importance of this unique submarine, her contributions to the Navy, and her journey from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard back to Portsmouth 41 years ago. Weather permitting, the Albacore will be open to viewing. The gift shop will be open during this event.
