Chance Poetry Workshop
A two-part experimental poetry workshop
Two Tuesdays - August 19 and August 26, 2025

6pm at Portsmouth Historical Society

$25 for members, $30 for non-members

Join us as we take inspiration from Cabot Lyford and our “Winds of Change” exhibition to try new styles and embrace techniques that incorporate the unexpected, like erasure, collage, N+7, exquisite corpse, and more! This workshop is open to all levels of experience, and particularly suited to those who want to try something new. We’ll discuss techniques, look at examples, and free write in the first session, and then come back the next week to continue the discussion and share our work.
