About the Talk:

Configurations are the backbone of large-scale financial systems, where flexibility and precision are equally critical. In this talk, we will explore how several hierarchical structures interact to form a multi-dimensional "setting-verse". We will peel back the layers of this pandora box and look into how these configurations govern system behavior across different contexts, and how such a massive structure enables both adaptability and complexity in enterprise fintech platforms.

Oleksii Niechaiev is a Full Stack Developer at Devexperts, primarily specializing in backend development for enterprise financial systems with more than 4 years of experience in software engineering. With deep experience in designing and implementing large-scale solutions, he has worked extensively on scalability, resiliency and integration challenges.

This presentation is an introduction to Temporal.io, a powerful workflow orchestration platform designed to make applications resilient against crashes, restarts, and network hiccups. Through interactive demos, we’ll walk through its core concepts and see how they help developers avoid brittle error-handling logic while building reliable systems.

Emanuel Ferraz is a Backend Engineer at Uphold, focused on designing microservices and building tools that enhance reliability and developer productivity. With a background in both backend and full-stack development, Emanuel has been contributing to open-source projects since 2018 and continues to share his expertise with the broader developer community.
