Contact Improvisation: Listening
Behind the noise and chaos of dance, we sometimes lose touch with the essence of movement, the honest contact with our own body.
When we chase shapes that are “beautiful” or “interesting,” we bypass the simple question: what is happening now... in my body, in my partner’s body, in this space?
This workshop invites you to slow down, listen, and immerse yourself in true movement. Presence may at first feel unclear or uncomfortable, but from this conscious pause arises the possibility of deeper connection with yourself, with space, and with your partner.
The class (~1,5h) will be followed by a jam (~1,5h): an open space for exploration, play, and experimentation.
No previous experience needed!
THE FACILITATOR
Margo Doletska is a CI practitioner from Ukraine and an interdisciplinary explorer of embodiment through voice work, theatre, body-based practices, and Gestalt therapy. Her work is related to understanding the body and creating spaces for authentic expression and connection.

~ Breathable, comfortable clothes that allow free movement and rolling on the floor, covering your arms and legs
~ Socks (we move barefoot on a wooden floor)
