Rabbi Dr. David Freidenreich, the Museum’s Historian-in-Residence, will share insights from this landmark report while placing the findings in the wider story of Jewish life in Maine over the past century.

About the Historian

Rabbi Dr. David Freidenreich is the Maine Jewish Museum’s Historian-in-Residence, the Pulver Family Professor of Jewish Studies at Colby College, chair of the Jewish Studies department, and associate director of the Center for Small Town Jewish Life. His work explores Jewish life across centuries and continents, with a special passion for illuminating the Maine Jewish experience.
