Youth Drag Workshop - our young people have been asking for this for a long time!
They will work with the fabulous Cerulean to find their character, hone their sass, and explore their unique look. Cerulean will guide participants through a wig glueing demo, character development using movement and costuming, and a masterclass on moving safely and confidently in heels.
There will also be plenty of time for Q&A, and showbusiness tips from Sam Gaskin on booking gigs and starting your performance career.
Spots are limited - book early to avoid disappointment.
Ages 12-25 years.
LGBTQIA+ and allies all welcome.
Materials provided.
Bring along any of your favourite things you're already playing with, (especially personal items like shoes and wigs). This will help Cerulean tailor her advice on movement and costuming to support your specific persona.
This workshop is designed to be a safe and comfortable experience for participants to learn character and performance tips, and to build their confidence. No one will be forced to take part in any activities they are uncomfortable with.
This is a drug, alcohol, smoke and vape free event.
