CAS Open House - Singing Sands Star Party

Join CAS members and the folks from Indiana Dunes State Park for what is the best star party of the year in Northwest Indiana. (At least in my opinion!) Bring your curiosity and questions as many deep sky objects should be visible if it is clear that night. At the Dunes, the skies to the east and north are particularly dark and so let's take advantage of that once again! Saturn should also make an appearance in the east. If it's clear during the day, observations of the Sun should also be available to those at the beach. It's solar maximum and the surface of the Sun doesn't disappoint showing off its unimaginable power.
