Exploring Archery: Learn the Basics (NE OH)

Attention ALL outdoor enthusiasts! This class is open to everyone of all ages, we encourage families interested in learning archery basics to attend a free class provided by the Ohio Division of Wildlife on July 9, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Instructors will cover topics including proper stance, archery techniques, and target practice. This class will cover the basics of shooting with a Genesis bow and will not cover bow hunting. All equipment will be provided, including both right-handed and left-handed bows. Participants are asked not to bring outside equipment.

Attendees should meet at the Ohio Division of Wildlife District Three Office at 912 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron, OH 44319. The class will be held outdoors and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Open toe shoes are not permitted.
