On 21 October 2025, BABANI and the Caudan Arts Centre present LEVENMAN 70 — a celebration of Menwar’s 70th earth day.
For this unique occasion, Menwar places himself in the role of a griot — the storyteller, guardian of memory, and voice of the people. With the ravann at the centre, and the energy of sagaï flowing through, he shares a lifetime of rhythms, colours, and stories that have shaped the soul of Mauritius.
Joined by close friends and collaborators across generations, the evening becomes a musical voyage — a passage between past and present, tradition and modernity, carrying the sound of an island to the world.
