5-Week Pottery Class at Foundry
Get your hands in the clay and experience the fun of making pottery from start to finish! Over five weeks, you’ll learn the foundations of wheel throwing and hand-building in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment.
Our instructors will guide you through:
-Centering clay on the wheel
-Shaping mugs, bowls, and small vessels
-Hand-building techniques like slabs and coils
-Trimming, decorating, and glazing your pieces
-Firing and glazing so your work is ready to use at home
Each week builds on the last, giving you time to grow your skills and create a small collection of functional pottery. No prior experience needed—all tools, clay, and glazes are included.
By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with pottery you’ve made yourself, along with the confidence and skills to keep creating.
