Celebrating ten years of the Bird Street Gallery
Join us for an exciting Artist Walkabout at Bird Street Gallery!
4 October - 10:00am
This walkabout offers a unique opportunity to step inside the creative worlds of our lecturers, technical staff, and researchers, who together present an extraordinary range of artistic practices, from sculpture, painting, ceramics and printmaking to photography, video, fashion, textiles, graphic design, and 3D printing.
Artists will share insights into their processes and ideas: from meditations on heritage and identity, digital transitions, and ecological consciousness, to explorations of liminality, migration, and technological change. The exhibition reflects both continuity and transformation, as it traces personal, cultural, and disciplinary journeys while embracing new materials and methods.
