Port Aransas VegFest

Port Aransas VegFest 2025 is a free-entry event hosted by non-profit Thereas Sumner Vegan Food Pantry. The family friendly event celebrates the environmental and health benefits and animal welfare promoted by veganism. There will be great plant-based eats and drinks along with vegan merchandise from twenty-one vendors. Free books for children, adolescents, and adults will be given away when attendees accept a 3-Minute challenge from We The Free. Listen to local Corpus Christi Dr James Walker, MD talk about the many health benefits of a plant-based diet and speaker Liz Clark from Humane World for Animals speak about how we can help animals. Salty Paws of Port Aransas will also be onsite with unhoused cats and dogs looking to find forever homes.
