The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society invites the community to a special BBQ Celebration on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM at the beautiful 2nd Chance Ranch, located at 135 Dun Rollin Lane in Port Angeles.
This family-friendly event celebrates the start of an new chapter by introducing the new OPHS Executive Director, Spenser McGinty. Spenser has over 10 years experience in non-profit animal rescue as well as a few rescue animals of her own.
Enjoy delicious burgers and hot dogs with all the fixings (while supplies last), a chance to stroll through the scenic 2nd Chance Ranch Gardens—recently featured on the Master Gardener Garden Tour—and a 50/50 raffle (cash only, no need to be present to win).
The owner of the 2nd Chance Ranch, Larry Edson is our gracious host providing food and drink to support OPHS. He is proud to open the gardens once again to help animals in need of a second chance at a happy life. All proceeds from the event go directly to support the animals at OPHS.
Come enjoy lunch in a beautiful outdoor garden and help give local animals the second chance they deserve.
Address: 135 Dun Rollin Lane off Lewis Road (Lewis Rd is just west of OPHS Bark House off Old Olympic Highway).
Amenities: ADA accessible, portable restrooms available.
