Twin Waters Healing Gathering
1st and 3rd Saturday monthly at 10:30 am.
Twin Waters where the Stamp and Klee-koot (Sproat) River converge and form the majestic Tsu-ma-uss (Somass) River.
Facilitated by Sarah Williams
We meet twice monthly. Rooted in the Jesus tradition and open to the wisdom of story, mysticism, marginalized voices, feminist theology, and sacred ecology/animism. We draw from sacred texts, myth, the hero’s journey, spiritual archetypes, the flowering divine feminine, animism, and the evolving path of The Way.
• Emergence – emergence theology, unfolding faith
• Feminine Wisdom – Ruah, Sophia, sacred feminine, Marian & Magdalene imagery
• Journey – inner and outer pilgrimage, Hero/ine’s Journey
• Nature Metaphors – blooming, flowering, rootedness, seed and soil
• Ancient + New – blend of early church and evolving theology
Spiritual nourishment through story, symbol, and sacred path

• Explore Emerging Christianities: Post-evangelical, contemplative, mystical, decolonizing, queer-affirming, feminist, and ecotheological expressions of the Way of Christ.
• Walk the Hero’s/Heroine’s Journey: Using the archetypal path of transformation; death, descent, rebirth as a lens for faith deconstruction and reconstruction. Seeing deconstruction and doubt as sacred paths of transformation.
• Honour the Sacred Feminine: Reclaiming wisdom long silenced from Mary Magdalene to Sophia to the Divine Mother and Earth herself.
• Listen to Indigenous Voices: In humility and reconciliation, we center Indigenous wisdom, stories, and theologies, with care not to appropriate but to honour and walk alongside.
• Expansive Theology: Wrestling with sacred texts, reimagning theology, and making room for beauty, mystery, and multiplicity.
• Create Beloved Community: A place of belonging, spiritual practice, storytelling, laughter, shared healing, authentic connection, and collective dreaming.
"The spirit-messenger then showed me the river of life-giving water shining as bright as crystal. It flowed out from the seat of honor of the Great Spirit and the Lamb. The river flowed down the center of the village's wide pathway. On each side of the river was the life-giving tree. Every moon this tree was bearing fresh fruit— twelve different crops a year! Its leaves were good medicine for the healing of all nations.
No curse will be found there, for the seat of honor of the Great Spirit and the Lamb will be in that village, and in that place his people will honor him with their service. "They will see his face, and his name will be tattooed on their foreheads.
Night will be no more. There will no longer be any need of a torch to light the way, or for the light of the sun, because Creator himself, who is their Honored Chief, will be their light. And they will rule with him to the time beyond the end of all days."
