Magical Mugs clay workshop

Create two gorgeous and unique functional clay cups using pinch pot techniques (thumbs and fingers so please note that very long fingernails can make this challenging!) and adding colour and patterns by painting with underglazes and slips.

Around 5 weeks after the class these will be fired and glazed using a clear glaze to bring out the striking colours, creating beautiful art pieces to use in your home or gift to another.

Working with clay is good for the soul! Immersing in a gentle creative activity helps to switch off a busy mind, and making tiles is fun and achievable even if this is your first time using clay.

All materials are provided so all you need to do is turn up ready to have some fun and creativity.

$95 per person, includes all materials, glaze and double kiln firing.
Completed pieces will be available to collect from Normandale or at a subsequent class in Pauatahanui. For those unable to collect, I offer the convenience of postal delivery for an additional fee.
