Children's Day 2026

Te Rā o Ngā Tamariki/Children’s Day in Porirua is back! On Sunday, 1 March, at Ngāti Toa Domain, from 11am–3pm, there is a fantastic day of fun planned for kids of all ages.

There will be plenty of activities to keep tamariki entertained at this construction themed event, with Mills Albert diggers and trucks, a smash zone to have a go at some demolition, a design your own tools station and more!

You can expect the usual family fun with bouncy castles, face painting, and inflatable games, as well as local dance schools keeping you entertained throughout the day.
