Using the popular copper foil method, you will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating your very own beautiful stained glass suncatcher. This class is designed for total novices—no prior experience is necessary!
What You'll Learn:
Glass Safety & Tools: Learn to use essential tools like glass cutters and grinders safely and effectively.
Master the techniques for scoring and breaking both cathedral (transparent) and opalescent glass. Smooth rough edges with a grinder and learn to wrap each glass piece precisely with copper foil tape. Use a high-wattage soldering iron to join your foiled pieces and add loops for hanging.
Leave with a finished piece for display.
