Cwmavon Heritage Hour

The second meeting is planned for Thursday 29th January. We will be looking at some old maps and much more. Further details to follow 😊
We are starting up a Cwmavon local history group where we can meet monthly. The inaugural meeting will explore how the group can work and what resources are available. Our initial ideas include sharing personal testimony, researching old photographs, maps, newspapers, and visiting local sites of interest, inviting interesting speakers, and discussing old times in a relaxed atmosphere with the bar open ( from 7pm)😊. The actual content will depend on the contributions of those people who are interested.
