I’m inviting you and as many guests as you'd like to join me live on Zoom this September for one of my most popular Art History talks. It’s completely free to attend and a perfect way to introduce friends, relatives or colleagues to my talks.
On Monday 1st September at 6.00pm (UK time), I’ll be presenting Hogarth’s Harlots as a ‘pay what you think’ event — an evening of art and history you can enjoy from home.
Hogarth’s prints were the ‘News of The World’ of their day — bawdy, satirical and packed with characters whose vices still feel familiar. In this 45-minute talk, we’ll explore A Harlot’s Progress alongside Beer Street and Gin Lane, in a lively journey through Georgian London. The talk will be followed by a live Q&A.
