Sauer Sundays Fermentation Club: Sour Pickles

Welcome to Growing Pontiac's Fermentation Club, Sauer Sundays! Once a month we will be gathering at the 40 W Studio Space to offer equipment, support, tunes and guidance while you craft your own funky ferments. Check out our recipes and feel free to bring your own!

July's theme is sour pickles. We will be talking about fermented half-sour cucumber pickles and troubleshooting these tricky treats.

Notes for our fermenters: You need a half gallon mason jar and 6 - 7 pickling cukes per jar for this recipe. We will provide spices.

*Jars and fermenting supplies like airlocks may be available for sale at cost in the studio
