Welcome to Growing Pontiac's Fermentation Club, Sauer Sundays! Once a month we will be gathering at the 40 W Studio Space to offer equipment, support, tunes and guidance while you craft your own funky ferments. Check out our recipes and feel free to bring your own!
Join us for a fermented hot sauce class! We will be showing you how to make a sriracha-style and a vinegar style hot sauce with an easy lacto-fermentation process. Make your ripe hot pepper harvest a shelf stable, spicy FLAVOR BOMB in your kitchen!
Want to set your own batch up? Bring a wide mouth quart jar and 2 lbs of ripe (red) thick-walled peppers and we can provide tools and gloves for you to process your own.
Our Sauer Sundays Fermentation Club always has jars, fermentation weights and lids for sale at cost.
