Join us for a special evening of dialogue, collaboration, and community building hosted by Kelcie McQuaid—artist, curator, consultant, and founder of ShangriLa Collective. This joint gathering of ShangriLa Collective and SoBra Collective artists invites creatives from across South Florida to connect, share resources, and explore new possibilities together.
Kelcie will lead an artist talk discussing her current solo exhibition LINEAGE, funded by the Artist Innovation Grant and now on view at BaCA. She will also share insights from her years consulting on the Bailey Contemporary Arts Artists in Residence Program, highlighting its evolution and the critical role it plays in supporting local talent.
The evening will include open discussion about upcoming opportunities for artists, current challenges in the creative field, and strategies for fostering sustainable, collaborative art practices in our region.
