About / Event Description:
This free, hands-on event helps youth of all ages practice safe riding skills while learning the rules of the road. Expect helmet checks, bike checks, an obstacle course, car seat safety checks, and a chance to win a Bike Safety or Scooter Safety Basket. No personal bike required to join in.
Waiver & Participation Requirements:
A rider waiver is required for every child to participate.
Children without a parent or guardian present may attend only if the waiver is signed and submitted in advance.

What to Expect:
• Helmet & bike safety checks
• Obstacle course (participants may go through once or multiple times, depending on attendance)
• On-site car seat checks
• Photo & video consent are included in the waiver — Garfield County Public Health may use visual media for promotional purposes.
