Teen Driving Program

Road America’s Teen Driving Program presented by Kohler Credit Union goes beyond the typical driver’s education by putting participants in common emergency situations while in a safe, controlled, off-street environment. Price: $175 per person / $115 for West Bend Mutual Insurance Customers (contact your agent for promo code). West Bend, being the official insurance provider for the Teen Driving Program, is offering this amazing discount.

Driving school participants practice collision avoidance techniques that include:

Emergency lane changes

Braking

Skid control

Variety of other fundamental car control drills

Teen driving school courses are offered April through November on the Road America property. A valid driver’s license or learner’s permit is required. Participants will use a Road America supplied vehicle. Supplied cars include Chevrolet Cruze, Impala, Malibu, or similar.

Participants will partake in intense car control drills behind the wheel with up to three other students in the vehicle. Please consult your doctor if you have motion sickness or any other medical condition that might affect your experience. Parents are highly encouraged to attend with their teen.
