The pandemic, an ageing population and a rise in
chronic conditions mean that our health and care
systems in the UK and worldwide are facing the
biggest challenge of our lifetime. Our speakers,
Rachel Franklin and Tash Winter from the
research department at Plymouth Hospitals NHS
Trust will explain what clinical research they do at
the hospital, talk about current and upcoming
clinical trials, successes they have had, and why
they are building a recruitment centre.
