Moments in the Pilgrim Story

Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12, 2025 -- Join the Gard for this two day event where we present vignettes from our Plimmoth history. Throughout the day you can watch us present Establishment Day, when the Plimmoth Militia was first formed (1621), followed by musket and pike drills. We will also present the signing of the Mayflower Compact (1620) and the conversation that preceded that signing. There will be presentations on the Fur Trade, which was of vital importance to the colonists and their financial backers. What to Bring will highlight those things the colonists brought with them to establish households in the New World. There will also be specialist demos throughout the day.
