Learn Modern Hand Embroidery
Join Chrissy Anderson for this introductory hand embroidery workshop. Hand Embroidery, also know as Needlepoint, has been reinvented in recent years; it’s a modern hobby. Aside from creating beautiful projects, it’s also a nice way to relax and clear your mind. It’s portable, which makes it great for passing the time on road trips and so much more. The best part about it is that you can stitch on almost anything! You can personalize gifts, embellish clothing, sneakers, and bags, sign your quilts, create wall art & ornaments; the possibilities are endless!
About the Workshop:
In this 2-part workshop, we'll cover everything from needles to fabric and tips to techniques so that you can confidently create your own pieces of art. All supplies will be included for both nights. No experience necessary, however, hand stitching does require dexterity of the hands/fingers!

Runs 2 Thursday nights
7/17 & 7/24 | 6-8pm
Class Fee:
$80 attendee (Includes both classes & all materials)
Adults and mature teens ages 15+ welcome
Workshop Details:
Class ONE: Learn about Tools, Materials & Basic Stitches
• Fabric
• Needles
• Hoops
• Marking Pens
• Stitches - Backstitch, Stem Stitch, Split Stitch, Running Stitch, Satin Stitch and French Knots
Class TWO: Create a freehand wildflower meadow.
• Use basic stitches from Class One
• Learn new stitches to create flowers.
• Add lettering (if you’d like).
• Printed instructions provided.
