Layman's Alzheimer's Observations: A Caregiving Journey

Charles Conway returns to discuss his memoir, "Layman's Alzheimer's Observations: A 10+ Year Caregiving Journey," as well as his experiences as a caregiver with the disease and its progression.

Charles is not a clinician but, having been through it all, hopes to share what he experienced and learned along the way as the emotional and financial burdens in the process can be overwhelming. He will review the various symptoms of the disease as it progresses, what changes to daily life occur prior to needing a nursing home, as well as myths concerning Medicare involvement and hospice services. Charles will also share some tips on things we can do to keep our brain as healthy as possible.

All attendees will receive a free copy of Charles' memoir. Space is limited, so registration is encouraged!
