CT Rivers is pleased to announce the third annual Emergency Day!
This year's Emergency Day will be held at Camp Mattatuck on Saturday, September 20th. Emergency Day is for Fire Exploring Posts and Scouts BSA. Fire Explorers from all over the council will come together to gain knowledge and network with other agencies from around the state.
Posts will participate in 6 activities, which is timed and act as a compeition (Muster). Posts will earn trophies for the best time for each competing.
There will also be presentations from special guests from state agencies. Scouts BSA will have the opportunity to earn a merit badge in the emergency services field.
Lunch is provided for both Exploring and Scouts BSA. If you have any dietary resstrictions, please reach out to John Coleman.

8:00 - 09:00 – Registration
09:00 – 11:30am– Merit Badge (Merit badges offered Traffic Safety, Crime Prevention, Fignerprinting or Safety)
11:30-Noon – Lunch
12:00 – 4:00pm - Guest speakers
Fire Exploring
10:00-10:30 – Bucket Brigade
10:30 – 11:00 – Fire Extinguisher Demo – Erik
11:00 – 11:15 – PPE Race
11:15-11:45 – Stretch Line and Flow Water
11:45- Noon - Lunch
Noon – 4pm Guest Speakers And Camp Explorations – Open Program
