Pure Reverse 4s grass volleyball tournament at the Lake Pacawa Park in Plover.
Sign up as a team of 4 (2 guys and 2 girls).
Play starts at 9:00 AM, captains meeting shortly before play begins.
Entry fee: $80 per team.
50ish% payout.
24 teams max.
Rules:
- No open hand tips.
- No setting over.
- If a player enters the other court at any point in time, the ball is dead, even if no games are happening on the other courts.
- Directional blocks are legal.
- Doubles are allowed on any first contact.
- Doubles are allowed on the second contact while hand setting.
Normal pure reverse rules will apply.
- Guys cannot jump serve, block, or attack. If a guy send the ball over, he has to he standing (no jumping), and the ball has to travel in an upward trajectory.
There will be no food or drinks available for purchase, so please carry in anything you need for the entire day.
Pools of 4 will play two sets to 20 (120 total)
Pools of 5 will play two sets to 15 (120 total)
Seeding will be done by each pool, with the one seed being the team that got the most points total, or if a tie, by the least points scored against them. Criteria will be: 1. Point differential 2. Sets won. 3. Coin flip
Bracket games will be 21-21-15 (third only if needed).
The bracket will be a single+ elimination bracket.
* Single+ elimination: all teams will be in one bracket. The losers of the first round will make a consolation bracket, and the winners of the first round will make a champion bracket. After the separation of brackets, it is single elimination. This guarantees everyone at least two bracket games.
